This article will help you set up your device and navigate around your new desktop
The first change we have made to your device, is that you will now have to use your Microsoft Office 365/Outlook email username and password to Log In. Please make sure you are connected to the internet before logging in
This will link your device to your office account
After you have successfully logged in you will need to find and log into the OneDrive. This will appear as a blue cloud in the bottom right hand of your desktop as shown below.
Once you have logged into OneDrive, it will then automatically begin to sync your files and will now appear in your file explorer under the OneDrive icon (highlighted below). These files will automatically sync with the cloud, which means you will be able to access your files anywhere you sign into your office account.
IF you have saved your bookmarks/favourites and/or passwords before the migration, this next section will show you how to import them onto Edge.
After your files have synced, a file labelled favourites or bookmarks with an edge icon and a excel file labelled passwords will appear in your documents. These will be your passwords and bookmarks from your internet browser form before handing your device in. When you open Edge you will be able to access the website settings and got to your profile where there will be an option to import browser data.
here you will be able to import you bookmarks file by selecting "choose what to import", clicking on the drop down menu that pops up and choosing "favourites or bookmarks HTML". When you click import it will take you to your file explorer where you will need to select the file and import it in.
To import your saved passwords you will need to follow the same process however you will need to chose the "passwords csv" option rather than the "favourites or bookmarks" option
