In order for you to carry out this, you would need the following:
- VPP (Apple School Manager) credentials
- Access to the school's Jamf tenancy
1. Log into https://school.apple.com with the VPP credentials of the school
2. Search for the app in the Apps section
3. Select the school from the "Assign to" field
4. Enter the number of licenses needed (you can check this from the main Jamf page - however many iPads are managed + a few more)
5. Click on the Get button
You should then see the licenses purchased:
Now with the licenses purchased, you can push out the app through Jamf
1. Go to https://login.jamfschool.com/login and login to the school's Jamf tenancy
It might be the case where the school is on our main tenancy, in that case log in to our tenancy with the details in 1pass
2.Click the Synchronise button on the middle of the screen:
3. From the panel on the left, go to Apps -> Inventory
4. Click on the Sync with Apple School Manager Button
5. The app should now appear on the list on the page you are on.
6. Click on the + box, select the group of iPads you need this app installed on and click on the Save button to the right.
