This article will go through opening a .PAGES file in Windows. A .PAGES file comes from Apple pages which is their version of Microsoft Word. If you receive a pages it is recommended to ask the sender in the future to send by a compatible format such as Microsoft Word or PDF for ease of access.
If you are converting, use this method. Do not use third party converter apps as this can place your data/information into other hands.
1) Download the .PAGES attachment.
2) Log into your Apple ID in an internet browser. This is by going to icloud.com and signing in.
3) Open Pages from the top right apps selector.
4) Within Pages, select Upload. It is the cloud icon in the middle of the screen. Select your pages document to upload. 
5) Double click the uploaded document which has appeared in your "recents" to open it.
6) Once the document has opened, go to the three dots in the top right and select print. You will want to print it to PDF.
