Crowcroft-Smart notebook activation

Hello, If you are experiencing touch/interactivity issues on your smartboard at crowcroft park primary school, Below is a solution that will fix these issues and give you the ability to write on the board again

1)Open smart notebook

2)Click on "Help" At the top of the page, Then click "Software activation"

3)Enter the code I have sent SLT where it says "Product key"

4)Click "Add", accept the terms and conditions then "Next" Smart notebook should now be activated!

Further troubleshooting

1) Check board is on the right source, on the remote theres a button in the top left hand corner that looks like the below picture, Cycle through each source until you get a picture, Should be "Hdmi(number)"

2) Check device is up to date, go to your bottom searchbar "Check for updates" then "Check for updates button", Follow instructions if any are available

3)Check cables in computer and dock, should not be loose and in all the way (Dont force it)

4)Check side of the board, if the hdmi cable is in "Hdmi 3" there a smaller square cable that needs to be in "Touch 3" This will depend what number slot your hdmi cable is plugged into

5)If all else fails, take out the touch usb cable and put it in your laptop, this will look like a normal usb and be in the back of your dock (Staff with surfaces will need a usb dongle)
