Google -Forward your Gmail messages to another account

This article is for inputting an email address in which you would like all of your gmail messages which come into the account to get forwarded to.


Switching on automatic forwarding


1) Open your Gmail account which you would like to set the forward on. You can only send the messages to one email account.


2) Go to the top right of the screen and select the settings cog which will then allow you to select See all settings.


3) Within all settings, select the tab Forwarding and POP/IMAP.


4) In the forwarding section, select Add a forwarding address. You can then enter the email address in which you would like to forward the emails to. Select Next.



5) A verification message will be sent to the address in which you are attempting to link up. Click the link in the message to verify.


6) Go back to Gmail and refresh the page.


7) Select the tab Forwarding and POP/IMAP and go to the Forwarding section. This is where you can select Forward a copy of incoming mail to.


8) Choose what you would like to happen to your emails within Gmail.


9) Don't forget to click save at the bottom of the page.


Switching off automatic forwarding


1) Open your Gmail account which you would like to stop forwarding messages from.


2) Go to the top right of the screen and select the settings cog which will then allow you to select see all settings.


3) Select the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab where you can go to the forwarding section and select Disable Forwarding.


4) At the bottom of the page select save settings.
