When requesting your website unblock

Modified on Tue, 23 Jan at 2:39 PM

At times, you may encounter issues with your broadband filtering logs, and you may need to send us the user, time and date, and website visited to enable us to check and resolve the issue. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to send us the necessary information:

1. Who is the user: The first step is to identify the user who encountered the issue. This could be you or someone else using the broadband connection.

2. Note the Time and Date: The next step is to note the time and date when the issue occurred. This information is crucial in helping us to locate the relevant logs.

3. Record the Website Visited: Finally, record the website that was visited when the issue occurred. This will help us to narrow down the search for the relevant logs.

4. Do you want this unblocked for just staff or staff and students?

Once you have gathered this information, you can send it to us via email or through our customer support portal. We will then use this information to work with third parties. Certain providers may request authorisation from the school in which case we will forward this onto the school for you to provide.
