These are the top 5 tips you need to recognise if a email is scam.
1) Check if they create a sense of urgency
Do not fall for this. It is just a way for them to get what they want out of you a lot faster by making you feel panicked because your brain will automatically go into react mode rather than think about the email first.
For example this image below.

2) Do not click on any link they add to this email.
They do this to make the email feel and look more real to you. They could also do this so as soon as you click on it they will install a harmful software on your device that can track what you type, steal your data and slow down your device.
Make sure you check if it matches the real website. If you are in doubt then go to the official site instead of clicking on the link.

3) Check for spelling mistakes in the senders email address or in the email
Scammers often use fake address. They have spellings mistakes because they send thousands of emails at once so they have to rush it. They rely on quantity over quality and scammers sometimes misspell the passwords on purpose because it will slip through the scam/junk filter more easily and it makes it to your inbox.

4) Check how you are addressed
If the way you have been addressed is very generic such as "Dear User", it means they have sent it to many people. If a real company wanted information from you or wanted to ask something they will use your name or part of your account information.

5) Look for unusual requests
They will never ask for sensitive information over a email they will always call you and go through a security check. This can be bank details and personal information and since this is the most important part.
