Ensure the right permissions link is selected to send out
The default setting ensures that only individuals within your organization can respond to the form. When you copy and share the link, only users signed in with a school account will have the ability to respond.
There are two other options available for changing this setting:
'Anyone Can Respond': With this option selected, anyone who receives the link, regardless of their account, will be able to respond to the form.
'Specific People in your organisation Can Respond': This choice allows you to designate specific individuals within your organisation can respond to the form. You can achieve this by selecting a group, entering their names, or using their email addresses."
Sharing access to the Form
"There are four options for sharing a Form:
Link: Copy the form link and share it with the intended users.
Invitation: Send invitations via Outlook or Teams by selecting the recipient's name, group, or channel.
QR Code: Download a QR code that users can scan to access the form.
Embed Code: Copy and paste this code into your web page or Sway to embed the form."
Adjust Settings for Anonymity: (Three dots towards the top right -> Settings)
- Click on the Cog (More Options) button in the upper right corner of the form.
- Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
- Under the section “Who can fill out this form”, choose the option “Anyone with the link can respond”. This makes the form accessible to people outside of your organization, without requiring them to sign in, which helps in keeping their responses anonymous.
- Ensure that the option “Record name” is unchecked. If this option is not visible or already unchecked, it means the form is set to not record names.
