iPad DNS Fix

Modified on Thu, 16 May at 2:20 PM

This is an article that explains how to fix internet issues on iPads caused by DNS problems. This may not work to solve internet issues caused by other factors, but is a try in some cases.

Step 1:

Enter the settings app on the iPad.

Step 2:

Navigate to the General Tab on the left side menu.

Step 3:

Towards the bottom of the menu, select the option that says "VPN & Device Management" (This may say "VPN, DNS & Device management" on some iPads).

Step 4:

Select the option that says "DNS Settings", and change the option to Automatic.

Step 5:

Test the internet connection on the device. This may take a while to see a change on older iPads. You can test the connection by opening Safari, and opening any webpage such as BBC. If the site loads, then the process has been completely successfully.
