Intune - How to Manually Sync Your Device

You can manually sync your Intune-managed device to apply updates faster. Normally, devices sync automatically over time, but this process will allow you to force a sync.


Windows 11 Devices

  1. Click the Start Menu icon or press the Windows key on the keyboard.
  2. Open Settings (click the gear/cog icon or search for Settings).
  3. Select Accounts (On the left-hand menu).
  4. Click Access work or school.
  5. Under your connected account, click Info.
  6. Scroll down to Device Sync Status and click Sync.

Your device will now sync with the latest settings and policies.

Windows 10 Devices


1. Firstly go to the Settings (cog icon) in the start menu.


2. Then go down to Accounts.

3. Then go down to Access work or school and click on the little Windows icon (Connected to). Then click on the button Info.



4. Once pressed on Info, scroll down to Device Sync Status.


5. Press on Sync, this will make your computer sync with the settings and policies.
