NBHS - Installing the Broadband Certificate

To connect to the broadband in school, you are required to install a broadband certificate which allows the filtering to work when in school. If you do not have the certificate installed, you cannot connect to the internet.

This article is only for personal devices, you are not required to install this certificate on school owned devices as this is done for you.

1. Download the crt file at the bottom of this article. Once downloaded, open the file.

2. Once opened, you will be prompted to install the certificate, select this option.

3. Select "Current User" and select Next

4. Select "Place all certificates in the following store", then select "Browse". From there you can select the certificate store which is "Trusted Root Certification Authorities"

5. Lastly, select finished.

The certificate is now installed.
