Troubleshooting - Internet Connection

This article is for if your device is not connected to the internet. (If there are multiple devices not connecting, please let us know by contacting us at or by calling the helpdesk.

You do not have an internet connection if your device has a globe icon.

For wired connections

If your device is on a cabled connection, please ensure that the cable is not damaged and plugged in at both ends. The cable will look similar to this. The faceplate will look similar to the picture of this.

For wireless (WiFi) connections

For a wireless connection, select the globe icon (shown above) and select your WiFi network to connect to. If you require a password to connect the device, please contact your office team or headteacher who may have this password. (We are unable to hand this password out over the phone).
